Ethan and his wife Ingrid
PVI Maine was founded in the summer of 2010 by Ethan Whitaker, a software developer with 30+ years of experience.
Ethan is an expert in a variety of technologies, including Microsoft .NET, Apple iOS, Android and database technologies. He has designed numerous enterprise wide applications for prominent corporation but his professional passion comes from working with small organizations and individuals, bringing their ideas to mobile devices like the iPhone, iPad and Android.
Ethan graduated from Bates College in 1980 and resides in Wiscasset, the “Prettiest Village In Maine” . . . thus “PVI Maine Software”.
Ethan ran cross country and track in College and still runs most days. He has completed 5 marathons and over 20 half marathons. He and his wife are avid birders; enjoy boating and spending time with family.
